AmiriArch

A half-century-old Persian woodcraft workshop, given a website that showcases its monumental executive projects while opening a real sales channel for its smaller, shippable pieces.

Half a Century of Persian Woodcraft, Given a Home on the Modern Web

Amiri Wood Industries has spent over half a century practising traditional Persian khatam and lattice woodwork — ornamental doors, including work for the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza, alongside custom cabinetry, screens and staircases for luxury and institutional spaces. The brand needed a website that could carry that heritage properly onto the web, while also opening a real sales channel for its smaller, shippable pieces.

The Challenge

A craft business built on decades of reputation and monumental, one-of-a-kind projects has a different presentation problem than most: the website has to convey the scale and cultural weight of executive work like shrine doors, while still functioning as an ordinary online shop for smaller items a customer can actually order and receive. Those two things — grand portfolio and functioning storefront — needed to live on the same site without either one undercutting the other.

Our Approach

We built the site around a proper executive-projects showcase — organised by harems, buildings and mosques — that gives the brand’s largest, most significant work the presentation it deserves, alongside a straightforward online shop for smaller wooden pieces built for shipping. The result carries the weight of a half-century artisan legacy while still being genuinely easy to browse and buy from.

The Result

Amiri Wood Industries now has a web presence that does justice to its history and its executive projects, while giving its smaller catalogue a real online storefront — traditional craftsmanship, presented for a contemporary audience.
